We are so excited to be heading out to the beautiful Douglas Farm for a Dinner in the Field with Owen Roe and Double Circle Spirits
Welcome in the beautiful harvest season at one of Oregon’s oldest farms.
Douglas Farm has been operating on Sauvie’s Island since the 1940’s. Touted by locals as one of the best places to pick peaches, Douglas Farm offers an abundance of fresh produce, free-range eggs and local honey.
Joining us as our wine partner for the evening is Owen Roe. They proudly make wines from superior Northwest sites where the fruit ripens slowly and fully, resulting in excellent acidity and balance that makes them so food friendly.
The Double Circle Spirits story started when the Johnson family homesteaded in 1875 at the Johnson Ranch in Wasco County, 17 miles southeast of The Dalles. Several generations later, Jason Johnson decided to pursue his life-long dream of distilling spirits from the wheat of the family ranch. They bottled and sold their first Columbia Plateau Vodka in 2015. The family ranch’s wheat and it’s subtle character is the overarching theme in all of their products.
Get ready to enjoy the views at Douglas Farm and enjoy a locally crafted 6-7 course family-style meal paired with incredible Oregon wines!
